Making The Cut (2006)

Making The Cut (2006) Poster

This was my thesis film while I was attending Sheridan College a fewyears ago. It was my first stab at directing straight comedy and I have to say despite making it during a college teacher’s strike, it was a pleasant experience and my crew was fantastic. You can still check out the Making the Cut Website.

STRUT (2005)

Strut: Director's Cut Video

Strut is the first film I directed while in Sheridan’s ATVF program and was a one minute exercise that was to prepare us for our major projects(in my case Making the Cut). My attempt was to tell a boy meets girl story with the challenge of keeping the camera below the waist. Try not to take that the wrong way. It was a good experience with a great crowd.

LE CRAYON LIBRE (2003)

Le Crayon Libre Quicktime

This was the very first thing I did when I got my hands on a video camera. I thought what better way to get the bad films out of my system than by shooting them on a handy Sony minidv. Later this would spark the idea to make fun of German Chiarscurro lighting using a diet coke can…

DAS BLECHDOSE (2003)

This film is how should I put it… heavily influenced. Also I won’t lie to you about it, Das Blechdose actually turned out a little better than I was expecting or even hoping for. I think the budget for this movie came around like five dollars. Unfortunately since I don’t have rights to Yakety Sax you will not be able to enjoy the credits and note our “Coke Supplier”.
