POP: The Gremlins Crash Your DVR

This is not only funny but damn impressive from batgremlin of Youtube. I remember my disappointment when I saw the VHS copy of Gremlins 2 for the first and did not happen to see Hulk Hogan yelling threats to some Gremlins. The Indiana Jones sequence is particularly well done.

Now for Gremlins 3. See the making of this ‘Film Break’ after the break.

I’ll admit that sometimes my sense of humor can be pretty low. And for this… I apologize.

The Dark Knight (2008)

When I saw Batman Begins for the first time there were not a lot of surprises for me. Christopher Nolan is one of very few directors I can name where I feel guaranteed that I am going to enjoy their work. Not to mention I also had read the David Goyer script a good year before the release and was telling everyone I knew how brilliant a reboot it was going to be. Most ,if not all, did not believe me at the time. Of course after seeing Batman Begins I think most people will be going into The Dark Knight with lofty expectations.

POP: How about a Magic Trick?

I honestly find it a mystery how quickly some people can take pop-culture references that are only so old (like 2 days) and already have a T-shirt featuring the catchphrase. It also just so happens to be my favorite seen in The Dark Knight, I just wish the fellas at redbubble did not charge so much for shipping up to Canada.

Check out the T-Shirt at Redbubble (note: I am in no way affiliated with Redbubble.)

It’s amazing what you’ll find in a Google image search these days. I wish I knew who did this so I could give proper credit. My Dark Knight review will be up this afternoon.

Dark Knight Prologue Leaked

No response Dec 16, 2007 I Posted by: Gorman

Well if you are at all like myself and can’t stand Will Smith (which looking at this weekend’s box office puts you in a very small majority) you probably won’t see the Joker prologue in front of Imax copies of I Am Legend.

Lucky for you and I there is a leaked copy of the prologue on youtube. Sure the quality is abysmal and the audio way off, but that definitely is a better option than having to watch Will Smith claim to be an actor. You can definately see where Nolan was coming from when he claimed to draw inspiration from Michael Mann’s Heat.
