This is not only funny but damn impressive from batgremlin of Youtube. I remember my disappointment when I saw the VHS copy of Gremlins 2 for the first and did not happen to see Hulk Hogan yelling threats to some Gremlins. The Indiana Jones sequence is particularly well done.
Now for Gremlins 3. See the making of this ‘Film Break’ after the break.

Meet Bill (2007)
I decided to check out Meet Bill after seeing Eckhart as Harvey Dent in The Dark Knight. It is not like I didn’t admire his work previously, but I needed the Harvey Dent role to convince me to check out Meet Bill with its two directors (usually a recipe for disaster) and its atrocious poster. Of course once I was informed of the film’s casting I would even say I was excited to see Meet Bill.

Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer (2008)
So I had the fortune last week to check out the ‘premiere’ of Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer(a Canadian horror production) at my favorite cinema (Bloor Street) as a part of Rue Morgue’s Cinemacabre screenings. Not only was the movie itself a pleasant surprise, but I had the pleasure of seeing Robert Englund (Willy!!!) in the flesh.
Funny enough passersby of the lineup to get into this movie were under the impression it was for the Dark Knight.

Be Kind Rewind (2008)
Review
Michael Gondry writes and directs Be Kind Rewind, his latest film since The Science of Sleep in 2006. Both films are unique in that the are the only auteur films so far from Gondry. The Science of Sleep was a touching film and played up to Gondry’s visual strengths that make him unique as a filmmaker. This sort of makes Be Kind Rewind a strange irony.
The premise is certainly appealing. Mike(Mos Def) is taking care of an aging video rental store while his boss, Elroy (Danny Glover with an odd speech impediment), tries to prevent the store from closing down. While working the store, Mike’s friend Jerry (Jack Black) has somehow become magnetized and accidentally erases all the tapes in the store.
